Sometimes I look at other company logos or stationary/web work and want to find out what a certain font is. Today I decided to google what a certain font was and I came across a forum that introduced me to the MyFonts site section WhatTheFont!. Just thought I would share it with everyone. Basically you send them a PDF or JPEG and they will search the closest matches in their database:

Technology helps us so much these days. Thought everyone should check it out and share their thoughts.
So here is the logo:
Here is what I took into consideration for chosing this logo:
•Simple-The logo is easily identifiable for what it stands for. Good logos feature something unique without overworking it. Sometimes a logo itself can speak for itself.
•Memorable-Behind simplicity, is memorability.
•Timeless- It has the potential. Look at the Coca Cola logo, how many times has it been changed since 1885? The answer is ZERO. Pepsi has changed their logo 10 times since 1898.
•Versatile-Can it be adjusted and still be effective in communication? Such as sizing it down to an envelope or anything stationary. If it was changed to black or white, it will still convey the message. Vector is the way to go for logos.
•Appropriate- As Paul Rand once said, "A logo derives its meaning and usefulness from the quality of that which it symbolizes". I will let you interpret that.
To me it resembles a better more updated version of the old recycling logo. Tell me what you think about it. Comment below.
